This is my personal blog! I like to write about my family, friends, and passions. No hidden agendas, though I'm a crazy advocate for adoption. I'm here to make friends and peace, and I hope you do the same when you leave a comment!

If you're looking for a story, Bennett Springs (near Lebanon) is the place to be for opening day.

Roaring River near Cassville is more picturesque than Bennett Spring, but both will be busy and productive on opening day of trout season...
Branson duhhhh.
You just can't beat our record trout sizes. Go big or go home...
did you know that some schools let out for opening day?
In Utah, many schools shut down for hunting seasons. The number of people that actually go to school on such an important holiday is so low the schools have no choice but to acknowledge them as holidays.
If you want a photo for a story I can help. The dams are where the action is at. In Branson, the dam has record sized trout. Good for fly fishing. In the county seat, Forsyth, take a left at the County Courthouse - follow 1.5 miles to electric park...always catch my limit here.
