Harold and Kumar Escape From My Mind...Please!

Jim and I set a date for a dinner and a movie on Friday night. We had decided earlier that night that we would see either Baby Mama (because we love Tina Fey, y'all!) or Forgetting Sarah Marshall...

BUT, at last minute (and after a few cups of sake) Jim was insistent that we watch Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Who am I marrying, a 19-year-old?!

Anyway, we saw it. He owes me.

It actually wasn't bad. Aside from all the farting and pot-smoking jokes, the comedic timing was pretty good, not that I'm an expert or anything. I mean, there are just some movies that I think are funny but still don't "get" until the 2nd and 3rd times I watch them (like Anchorman).

Anyway, no offense to Harold and Kumar... I just had my heart set on Tina. Besides, I'm a big fan of John Cho.

Anyway, one highlight of going to the movies was seeing the previews. I can't wait to see Pineapple Express when it comes out!

out of curiosity have you ever seen harlod & kumar go to white castle? now that's a funny movie! i haven't seen this new one yet, but judging by the usual run of things with sequels, i bet it's not as good as the first. in any case, you should give the first one a shot.

no, but jim said it was a good movie. he actually said the second is like the first, but this time it wasn't as funny. i dunno. i was just psyched about seeing a movie i wanted to see, since i don't have a lot of free time anymore!

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is funny.... this one had the same formula as the first, but lacked all the things that made the first one a decent movie.

John Cho is a real cutie. I'm not sure if that's enough to make me see the Harold and Kumar movies or not, though! In other news, I think I just peed my pants watching the Korean boy sing "Hey Jude", OMG. Too funny!

I love John Cho. I hope I have sons who look like him! Jim's got hair like that, so maybe!
