I'm going to get braces. I am so excited!
I always wanted braces, but my parents said no. Now that my teeth have shifted again (and Jim can pay my bills--joke), it's going to happen.
Jim and I have a lot of jokes about the whole thing... but I'm so happy he's supportive.
Oh, I'm not technically getting a metal mouth. I'm using invisalign, so no one will be able to tell. I'll have my teeth fixed in a year!
Ahh!

You need braces? I never even noticed... But if you're excited then I'm excited, too! I had braces in High School. I was a steretypical "metal mouth." One word of advice: stock up on the ibuprofen. It will help for the day after the braces get tightened.
I'm so jealous! I wanted braces as a teenager because I've always been sensitive about my overbite. I did get a retainer and it worked quite well until the dog chewed it up (Minnie's long-lost ancestor?) Anyway, I know if I ever want braces my bro-in-law could hook me up, but driving to Des Moines for check ups is a bit too far!
Good luck! Btw, your teeth look perfect to me, but I understand how you feel!
