From Fort Leonard Wood With Love
Leaders from Fort Leonard Wood came to KSPR to share some valuable information-- for the first time in three decades, the military is changing the way it trains people. Working smarter, not harder, per se.
I love the military. I never had the kahonas to even consider joining, but I do have family members who are currently serving. And, of course, friends. Even if you don't want to get political, you should always support our troops!
And, I'm feeling very fortunate. They asked me to speak at the post in May for Asian American Heritage Month. Woot! Details to come.

Jerry Jacob saves people, loses equipment
Former KY3 anchor Jerry Jacob is learning combat medic training at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. He's doing really well! "All of our casualties survived," he says. "Though I somehow misplaced five rifles."

Jerry Jacob graduates boot camp
Many of you have asked how Jerry Jacob's doing. He just graduated boot camp in Fort Benning, Georgia. He's lost about 22 pounds, and he graduated at the top of his class, literally. You knew he had it in him. Here's the report we ran on KY3 News at 6 on March 22--
